Atomic Wallet Roadmap: 2021

1,000,000 Users Worldwide

In spite of the troubled times we’ve all been going through, 2020 was a significant year for Atomic. We grew up to 5 times in downloads and 10 times in revenue thanks to the people behind the project and the Atomic Wallet users!

By the end of this year, our distributed team has grown up to 40 people. The support service reacted to 98,746 issues in 27 minutes on average. And last but absolutely not least, we’ve reached 1 million users throughout all our desktop and mobile platforms and over 1 million swaps processed by 100,000 users!

What’s Done in 2020

Staking Support for 12 Assets

This year, we implemented staking for AWC, ZIL, ADA, BAND, ICON, ATOM, XTZ, TRX, KMD, NEO, ALGO, VET. Stake your crypto with no fees and receive rewards directly from validators supporting the network’s decentralization! Moreover, we started running our own staking pools/validator nodes for ZIL, ADA, ICON, BAND, ICX.

AWC Staking

AWC staking on Binance chain with 20% yearly yield was implemented this year. Rewards are allocated from our foundation pool of tokens, reserved for the next years to incentivize the AWC awareness. By now, there are 8869 AWC stakers who delegated 4,273,579 AWC (almost $3.8M), and we paid 376,850 AWC rewards (approx. $375,000).

Overall, we have more than 135,000 token holders! Soon, more use cases for AWC will follow.

7 New Assets

More and more of your favorite coins are being supported by Atomic Wallet. This year we added Hedera (HBAR), Band Protocol (BAND), ICON (ICX), Compound (COMP), Aave (AAVE), Monero (XMR), Polkadot (DOT). Manage, buy, exchange, stake crypto in one wallet!

New Assets to Buy with VISA/MC Card

Now you can buy even more assets like DGB, XEM, DASH, DAI, PAX, BUSD (stable coins), NANO directly in the wallet in 19 local currencies and earn cashback in AWC for your purchase.

Live Price Charts

For your convenience, we added price charts to the coins’ screens so you can track the prices of your favorite assets and make the right decisions on enlarging your portfolio.

Wallet Performance and Design Improvements

This year, we improved Atomic’s interface design and the wallet’s performance, we made Instant balance and history updates, push notifications, coins’ list performance update, added price charts, and a diagram portfolio to track assets in a new convenient way.
